What to expect...

You will arrive to a welcoming and private space, you will first be offered a drink before we settle in with a herbal tea and a chat. You will be asked a series of questions relating to your health, lifestyle and well-being. This is the most important part of building your therapy plan, please know that your disclosure is welcomed but not forced and that you can have confidence that anything mentioned is treated professionally and respectfully and kept confidential and secure.

From this initial consultation I will tailor the session to meet your needs and share Ayurvedic/yogic remedies and techniques to help resolve the presenting issue/s in order to help support and guide you towards optimal vitality. There is not a ‘one-fix-all’ approach to healing so with this in mind the focus is to meet your needs and to individually personalise your experience.

Do I need to stop medications and doctor visits?

The ayurvedic therapy plan shared can antidote and support or balance any side effects of the drugs you may be already be taking and lower the amount of medication you take via the guidance of your doctor. You are encouraged to work along side your generalpractioners guidance, it is not advised to suddenly stop taking medication without the help and guidance of your doctor. Ayurveda helps to empower the individual to take control of their own healing, to spot the signs of a relapse before it happens and replace the need to reach for a higher dose of medication with an alternative approach.
